To mark the launch of the LEGO Main Street, U.S.A. set, a new art installation has appeared at the real Disneyland in California.
Visitors to Disneyland's official LEGO Store this past week were surprised by a forced-perspective art installation appearing overnight. The installation followed the launch of 43302 Main Street, U.S.A. on June 1 and is correspondingly based on the new set.
While the artwork won't make sense if you're approaching it from the side, standing in the right spot reveals a work of 3D chalk art mixed with a real LEGO mosaic in the background.
This art is a collaboration between Disney, the LEGO Group and artist Nate Baranowski, who revealed more of the finer details and some in-progress pictures on his Instagram.
LEGO mosaics for new sets and events are common, and artwork based on LEGO sets also appears often. It's not often, though, that these two worlds combine and the result works far better than we could have anticipated.

It's a great way of celebrating the new LEGO Disneyland set at the resort where the real Main Street, U.S.A. is located. Unfortunately, we haven't seen any pictures of the LEGO model on Main Street just yet.
You can pick up 43302 Main Street, U.S.A. now for £319.99 / $399.99 / €349.99, featuring a swathe of exclusive minifigures, new stickers and three buildings.
